Treasure in Clay-Jar Restoration Ministries

Raising Leaders • Building Futures

Restoring dignity, nurturing potential, and building safer communities across Nigeria.

Our Story

Treasure in Clay-Jar Restoration Ministries was born out of nearly eight years of dedicated prison ministry experience by its founder, Oluwatoyin Alao. During this period, she observed a troubling pattern: many young people were being incarcerated for minor and preventable offences.

Beneath these cases lay deeper societal challenges: poverty, lack of mentorship, limited access to education, and the absence of early moral guidance. This reality sparked a powerful conviction that to break cycles of hardship, intervention must begin early.

From this burden emerged a clear mission — to strengthen character, provide opportunity, and prevent incarceration before it begins.

Today, the organisation stands as a beacon of hope, committed to nurturing potential, restoring dignity, and building safer communities across Nigeria.

Meet the Founder

Founder of Treasure in Clay-Jar Restoration Ministries

Oluwatoyin Alao

Oluwatoyin Alao is the founder of Treasure in Clay-Jar Restoration Ministries. Her vision was shaped through years of prison ministry, where she encountered the realities facing many young people caught in cycles of poverty, limited opportunity, and preventable offences.

Burdened by what she saw, she became committed to early intervention through education, moral guidance, spiritual support, and practical empowerment. Her passion is to help children and vulnerable individuals discover their worth, grow in confidence, and become positive influences in their communities.

Through this ministry, she continues to champion restoration, dignity, and hope for individuals and families across Nigeria.
